By public transport
The nearest tube station to Christ Church is Leyton (Central Line). It is a five to ten minute walk from the station to the church – turn right out of the station and walk up High Road Leyton until you reach Grove Green Road on your right. Follow this until you reach Francis Road on your left. Christ Church is on the right after 100 yards.
Alternatively, buses 69 and 97 from Walthamstow Central (Victoria Line & National Rail) or buses 69 and 158 from Stratford (Central Line, Jubilee Line, DLR & National Rail) all pass along High Road Leyton – get off at Leyton Town Hall and walk along Warren Road. Turn left down Francis Road. Christ Church is on the right after 50 yards.
From Hackney, bus W15 towards Walthamstow passes along Warren Road – get off at the end of the road and turn left along Francis Road. Christ Church is on the right after about 50 yards.
If you’re coming from Leytonstone, take bus W14 or W15. Both pass along the Leyton end of Grove Green Road – get off after coming along (W14) or passing (W15) Cathall Road. Take Francis Road, on the right. Christ Church is on the right after 100 yards.
By Car
From Hackney follow signs to Leyton along the Eastway. At Leyton High Road, go straight across at the traffic lights into Warren Road. Bear left at the end of the road into Francis Road. The church is about 50 yards along on the right hand side.
From Walthamstow follow Hoe Street and High Road Leyton. Turn left into Francis Road. The church is on the left at the far end of the road.
From Leytonstone take Gainsborough Road or Cathall Road to Grove Green Road. Follow Grove Green Road towards Leyton. Turn right into Warren Avenue and right again into Warren Road. Bear left at the end of the road into Francis Road. The church is about 50 yards along on the right hand side.
Parking is normally available in Francis Road and the surrounding streets.
